Reply of Japanese Government states that the positions at which action deemed appropriate was taken against Chinese customs vessels were 113° 51-6" east longitude 21° 27.4" north latitude, and 113° 27′7′′ east longitude and 25° 20.g" north latitude. A reply adds that both of these points being outside Hongkong territorial waters, there is no reason for protest from his government. nds.
